I’ve had my mac for about 6 months now (7 – 1 month of repair). As the problems with my MacBook seem to be gone for ever now, I can begin to sum up some good experiences.
I added a page to my weblog with a list of applications I think are the best for Intel Macs. A lot of them are freeware. While on Windows most freeware apps are useless, on Mac they are often better than the ones you have to pay for.
The intention is to regurarly update the list, based on my new exposures and comments of visitors. Indeed, on the bottom of the page you can add some more if you like.

You’ve forgotten Opera?
And what’s wrong with HamachiX? Works fine over here.
Of course Opera is a fine browser. But in our Mac world, bad browsers don’t really exist. So I had to make a choice. For me Opera offers too many tweaking tools. It also starts up a bit more slowy than Safari or Camino.
I think that Opera is the best browser for Windows, not for Mac.
HamachiX ? Didn’t work, and I remember it damaged some os properties
