Tonight Europe has his famous Eurovision Song Festival again. For the last ten years, the quality of the songs has been replaced by show performance and popularity matters. For me, I feel mostly ashamed when talking to friends about the song contest.

Though there was hope. In 2003 my country (the French part, they have no popular preselections which improves quality) sent the folk group Urban Trad, who brought the pure and beautiful song “Sanomi”. Surprisingly we ended second.

For this year I watched all the participating countries in preview over the internet, so I could skip all the rest of the bullsh*t and give my opinion witouth being influenced by show tricks.

I only have one conclusion. Vote for Ireland, because all the rest is just “no” music !
The country dares to send traditional music, with a honest and modest performance. I really got enthousiastic when I saw on the end that the song was also chosen by televoting in the preselections !!!! Can you imagine how lovely Irish people are ?

Anyway, the song won’t make it of course. It will not be noticed between the other violence, and even may get no single point. But Ireland, you will have mine !
