Since half a year the bluetooth module from my first generation Macbook was malfunctioning.
From time to time the bluetooth icon disabled, so I couldn’t make use any more of my wireless mouse and the syncrhonisation of my mobile phone. But it also caused my Macbook to wake up again immediately after putting it in hibernate. (you can see my contribution on AppleDefects.com)

As I bought the laptop on the Apple shop, I only had 1 year of garantuee, that expired in July.
The Belgian Apple reseller “Switch” told me that fixing that problem would probably cost me an anormous amount of money, but they could have a look the problem first to get the exact price. That would take me “only” about 30 euros.

So that is what I did. When they confirmed me that the reparation would take me a lot of money, I canceled it.

But guess what. The problem is fixed. Just by having a look at it.
