Human Right Watch (from now on my blog is unreachable in China) posted a reminding article on their site today containing a Hall of Shame list of homofobic leaders of the world.

Though today it’s 17 years ago the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from its list of disorders, intolerance against non heterosexuals is increasing again. Even in Belgium, that was one of the first countries to legalize homosexual mariage, there are places, especially in Brussels, where you better don’t go alone out during night.

In Polen, now part of the European Union, students who even mention the word homosexual can be banned from school. Those who are promoting for more equality and openess, or people who express their “unnatural” feelings, can be sentenced to prison. The EU is acting very slowly to punish the country.
Worse scenarios can be found in islamic countries like Iraq or Iran, where you get can assasinated for your acts. And in the United States and the Philippines some top officials believe that these “sins” can be cured in special instituations.

I write this down, because most heterosexual people don’t read these stories a lot as their newspapers or television channels don’t report it.

Even Belgian “gay flamingos” don’t seem to care what it is all about when they are showing off on the annual city prides. They think “for me everything is all right now, let’s just party”. Sometimes these people make me even more sick than the conservative criminal leaders of the world.
